For a smoother syrup, strain it through a fine-mesh strainer. If you want more cookie texture and flavor, you can leave some of the cookie crumbs in the syrup.

Don’t skip the crushed Oreo topping. The cookie crumbs add extra chocolate flavor and give the latte that classic cookies-and-cream taste.

Adjust the sweetness. Start with 2 tablespoons of Oreo syrup. If you prefer a sweeter latte, add another teaspoon or two.

Make the syrup ahead of time. You can make the Oreo syrup ahead of time and keep it refrigerated so you can make an iced Oreo latte whenever the craving hits.
